‘Boca Bash’ partiers seen dumping loads of garbage into the ocean

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Following an annual event known as “Boca Bash,” partiers were seen disposing of large volumes of trash off their boat and into the ocean.

After departing from the notorious party on Sunday, videos shared on social media depict a group of individuals emptying two garbage cans filled with trash into the ocean, followed by celebrations.

The bash saw a large turnout with approximately 10,000 participants celebrating at Lake Boca Raton.

The organizers of the event said on Facebook they are “angered and disturbed” by the actions of the boaters and “quickly” identified the litterers on the boat following the video being shared.

Records obtained by Boca News Now indicated that Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission Officers apprehended nearly twenty individuals during the Boca Bash weekend, mainly on charges related to boating under the influence and drugs.
