MIAMI – Former President Donald Trump was invited to attend rapper Waka Flocka Flame’s concert in Miami on his birthday, June 14, sources have exclusively told Florida’s Voice.

No specific details were yet given, but two sources have told Florida’s Voice that Trump and his team are in talks with organizers, and that the concert is set to take place next month.

According to reports, Trump’s recent rally in the South Bronx Thursday drew 8,000-10,000 people.

“This rally did look a lot like America. There was a lot of Asian voters there. There were a lot of Hispanic voters, a lot of black voters there,” CBS said following the rally.

Juaquin James Malphurs, known professionally as Waka Flocka Flame, is known for his hit songs “No Hands,” “Hard in da Paint,” “Round of Applause,” and “Grove St. Party.” He also has expressed his support for the former president.

The source also mentioned Waka Flocka Flame being drawn to Trump for signing the Music Modernization Act. Among its implementations, the law updates the system of royalties for music artists to collect on their music. The bill also amended copyright law to better reflect the digital era of music.

Wake Flocka Flame’s potential upcoming appearance with Trump comes amid a greater effort to bring young people into the Republican Party, including minorities that similarly showed up for him in New York.

Other rappers, including Snoop Dogg, have turned around on their opinions of the presumptive GOP nominee. Trump also famously pardoned rapper Kodak Black, another well known rapper amongst the South Florida community.

With the event approaching next month, the sources announced upcoming engagement concerts in Charlotte, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Detroit, Milwaukee, Vegas, Reno and Phoenix. The areas were selected to boost Republican enthusiasm in critical swing states for the upcoming election.
