Trump endorses Debbie Mayfield for Florida State House District 32

MELBOURNE, Fla. – Sen. Debbie Mayfield, R-Melbourne, received the endorsement of former President Donald Trump for her Florida House of Representatives District 32 campaign.

Mayfield, who will be termed out of her current Senate seat at the end of the year, opted to run for the Florida House again after previously serving in the lower chamber for eight years.

“Debbie Mayfield is a Conservative Warrior for Florida House, District 32!” Trump said on social media. “She is fighting hard to secure our Border, grow the Economy, support our Military/Vets, protect Parental Rights, and defend our always under siege Second Amendment.”

“Debbie never wavers in her commitment to keep Floridians free, and Make America Great Again. Debbie has my Complete and Total Endorsement!” he said.

Mayfield thanked Trump for the endorsement in a statement following the social media post.

“President Trump has been relentless in his pursuit to Make America Great Again and I am incredibly honored to have his endorsement in this fight,” Mayfield said.

“I am tremendously proud of the work we’ve done to protect parental rights, to preserve our precious natural resources and to stand up for the rights that have continued to make the Free State of Florida the envy of the nation,” she added.

“Florida truly has become the firewall for extremist policies that are destroying security at the Southern border, driving inflation through the roof and stifling opportunity for hard working families,” she said.

Mayfield’s Senate seat, which covers part of Brevard County, has a contested Republican primary. However, one of the candidates, Rep. Randy Fine, R-Palm Bay, received Trump’s endorsement for the seat.
