Ed Montanari earns endorsement from former Pinellas Sheriff Jim Coats

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Republican Ed Montanari, who is running for House District 60, proudly announced Thursday he’s been endorsed by former Pinellas Sheriff Jim Coats.

“I am proud to have the support of former Pinellas Sheriff Jim Coats! I look forward to continue fighting for our wonderful law enforcement community,” Montanari said. 

Located on Florida’s Gulf Coast, House District 60 covers part of Pinellas County. It is currently represented by Lindsey Cross, D-St. Petersburg. 

In 2022, Cross defeated Republican candidate Audrey Henson in HD 60 by over eight points. 

The HD 60 general election is scheduled for Nov. 5
