TALLAHASSEE (FCV) – Congressional Candidate Anna Paulina Luna (R) has received yet another major endorsement in her bid to flip District 13 red. This time, she has been endorsed by Congresswoman and House Republican Conference Chair Elise Stefanik (R).

Stefanik’s endorsement statement described Luna as, “a strong and tenacious leader…strong on securing our southern border, stopping the runaway spending… and more.” She is perhaps the third most powerful Republican in her role as Conference Chair.

Luna has also been endorsed by former President Donald Trump (R) in her race to win the Republican nomination for Florida’s Congressional District 13. Her race is critically important as she is running to replace the soon-to-be vacated blue seat, held by Representative and candidate for Governor Charlie Crist (D).

Luna’s race could be instrumental in the GOP taking back control of Congress. The traditionally left leaning county faces its first electoral test since the number of registered Republicans in Florida recently overtook Democrats. She would also head into a general election with a potential advantage due to Congressional redistricting.

According to the latest poll conducted by Tidings Media amongst active conservative Facebook groups in Pinellas County, Luna pulled in nearly 60% of the vote. Another survey conducted by St. Pete Polls found Luna pulling in 36.7% of likely Republican voters, the only candidate surpassing double digits.
