Anna Paulina Luna Campaign Slams ‘Narrative-Setting’ Poll Giving Democrat 2-Point Lead: ‘It’s a Fake Poll’

SAINT PETERSBURG (FLV) – A new poll from David Binder Research and reported by Florida Politics found that Anna Paulina Luna, the current GOP frontrunner in District 13, is running a 2-point deficit behind Democrat opponent Eric Lynn.
This “poll” refuses to disclose its partisan splits because it’s a fake poll. (The) Pollster has called 33% of races correctly, according to Nate Silver/538. The District went Trump +7 points in 2022. Anna Paulina is going to stomp Eric Lynn. Even his poll shows her +9.

Luna’s campaign released a statement dismissing the new poll, arguing that it did not release the partisan breakdown of respondents.
“Failing to release the accompanying election turnout model is a common tactic with “narrative-setting” polls, which political consultants use to lie to the media and donors,” they said.
The campaign harkened back to an internal poll from Lynn in late June that gave Luna a 9-point lead: “Florida’s new 13th Congressional voted for President Trump by nearly 7-points in 2020 and has a Republican voter registration advantage of over 31,000.”
FiveThirtyEight rates the pollster as having called only 33% of races correctly, a publication that Luna’s campaign described as “a democrat and one of the foremost public polling aggregators.”
To contrast with the Democrat-favoring poll, the Trump-endorsed GOP frontrunner campaign presented examples of her own primary victories, with a new poll giving Luna a 20 point lead in her field.
“Both published APL campaign internal polls showed Luna’s lead grows to over 40 points when voters are informed that President Trump has endorsed her.”
