PENSACOLA BEACH, Fla. – Arizona U.S. Senate candidate Kari Lake is set to host a campaign event in Pensacola Beach on Wednesday.

It’s set to take place this Wednesday, at 5:30 p.m. CT.

Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., promoted the event on social media, encouraging people to attend.

“My good friend and America First patriot @KariLake will be in Pensacola Beach this Wednesday,” he said. “Tickets are going fast, you won’t want to miss this.”

Lake was endorsed by former President Donald Trump early on in the Arizona Senate GOP primary.

“When I’m back in the White House, I need strong fighters like Kari in the Senate. She is a fighter. She’s strong and she’s good,” he said in a video on social media.

“I will need a majority in the House and in the Senate. We have to have a big strong majority to help me push our America-first agenda through and to push it through really fast,” he added. “That starts right here tonight by helping Kari Lake win in Arizona, and she will win too.”

Her expected general election opponent is U.S. Rep. Ruben Gallego, D-Ariz.

Gallego leads Lake by six points in the Real Clear Polling average. However, the most recent poll by Emerson and the Hill only has the Democrat leading by 2 points.
