TALLAHASEE, Fla. – Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody warned New York City Mayor Eric Adams and a Democratic governor that President Joe Biden is “litigating to make the illegal immigration crisis even worse.”

Moody highlighted a legal victory for the Biden administration: under a court order, Texas will have to remove all 1,000 feet of river barriers in the Rio Grande river – which is a bordering water body between the U.S. and Mexico – by next Friday.

Adams recently sounded the alarm that the influx of migrants will “destroy” the city.

“Let me tell you something, New Yorkers. Never in my life have I had a problem that I did not see an ending to,” Adams, a Democrat, said.

“I don’t see an ending to this,” he continued. “This issue will destroy New York City.”

Moody’s warning extended to another Democratic official – Massachusetts Gov. Maura Healey – who in August said the Biden administration needs to better address the border crisis.

“In a direct attack, Biden sued Texas to take down the effective barrier so that more people could ILLEGALLY enter this country. And now a federal judge ordered the state to remove the barrier,” Moody said.

@NYCMayor Adams and @MassGovernor Healey should be aware that Biden is litigating to make the illegal immigration crisis even worse,” she said.

Moody has persistently sounded off on “Biden’s border crisis,” last month pointing to the Massachusetts governor asking for more help on the situation.

“Florida fought the Joe Biden administration as they cut funding, reduced detention capacity and enacted policies that allowed millions of unvetted immigrants to surge across our Southwest Border,” Moody said.

“Now, a governor in the Northeast is asking residents to open their homes to immigrants to help manage the crisis the federal government created.”
