TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (FLV) – President Joe Biden was mocked for proclaiming his administration “has plans” to construct a brand new railroad system from the Pacific “all the way across the Indian Ocean.”

The DeSantis War Room, a branch of Gov. Ron DeSantis’ 2024 campaign on social media, mocked the president, calling his plan “ambitious.”

“That’s really nice, grandpa. Maybe you want to sit down for a few minutes?” commentator Dave Rubin reacted.

Ben Shapiro of the Daily Wire also responded, saying, “He does remember Pangea, so.”

“That is going to be a heck of a railroad,” another said.

“It’ll be nice to finally have a direct route to Madagascar.”

The distance from California’s coastline to the edge of the Indian Ocean along the southern Africa coast would be over 10,430 miles long.
