BREAKING: DeSantis Announces ‘Stop WOKE Act’

WILDWOOD (FCV) – Wednesday, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) announced the “Stop W.O.K.E. Act.”

The “Stop Wrongs Against Our Kids and Employees Act” will target critical race theory (CRT) in both the classroom and corporate setting.

“No taxpayer dollars should be used to teach our kids to hate our country or hate each other,” DeSantis remarked.

The bill will go beyond public education, making it illegal for private employers to enact CRT training.

It will deem “critical race theory training to be an unlawful employment practice … corporations and public sector employers violate the Florida Civil Rights Act when they subject their employees to training that espouses race or sex stereotyping or scapegoating including critical race theory.”
