WASHINGTON, D.C. – Rep. Brian Mast, R-Fla., donned an Israel Defense Forces uniform after Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., draped a Palestinian flag outside her congressional office.

“As the only member to serve with both the United States Army and Israel Defense Forces, I will always stand with Israel,” Mast said on X. “Tlaib’s got her flag. I got my uniform. ‘Global Day of Rage’ my ass.”

Mast’s “Global Day of Rage” comment referenced Hamas’ apparent call targeting Jews in American cities and across the globe. The remarks have sparked law enforcement agencies across the United States to remain on high-alert over possible attacks.

Tlaib, who is a member of the so-called “Squad,” displayed her Palestinian flag amidst Hamas’ ongoing slaughter of the Jewish state. The far-left group is often named to include Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., Rep. Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., Rep. Ayanna Pressley, D-Mass., and Tlaib.

While sparking outrage from Mast, Tlaib’s measure has moved other Republican congressman to take similar action in solidarity with Israel. Max Miller, R-Ohio, issued an appropriations amendment Monday effectively banning the flying of any foreign flags in Congress.

“The halls of Congress belong to America. They should be reserved for flags that embody our great nation. The Palestinian flag should not have a place here,” Miller said on X.

Since her time in Congress, Tlaib aligned herself closely to Palestine while calling for its freedom. She has also referred to Israel as an “apartheid state.”

“The path to that future must include lifting the blockade, ending the occupation, and dismantling the apartheid system that creates suffocating, dehumanizing conditions that can lead to resistance,” Tlaib said on Instagram.

Tlaib also continued to remain silent after Fox News’ Hilary Vaughn repeatedly asked for her comment over Hamas’ brutality on children, including reports of chopping off heads and burning them alive. The congresswoman briskly walked away as she dodged Vaughn’s questioning.

“Congresswoman, Hamas terrorists have cut off babies heads and burned children alive. Do you support Israel’s right to defend themselves against this brutality?” Vaughn asked

As she went down a hall, Tlaib averted to Vaughn while remaining silent after being asked, “Do you condone what Hamas has done chopping off babies heads, burning children alive, raping women in the street.”

She later disappeared behind an elevator after Vaughn asked Tlaib “Why do you have a Palestinian flag outside of her office.”
