Byron Donalds scathes Hillary Clinton for calling Trump supporters a ‘cult’
WASHINGTON, D.C. (FLV) – Rep. Byron Donalds, R-Fla., scathed former Secretary of State and former Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton over her recent comments calling many members of the GOP part of a “cult” for defending former President Donald Trump.
Clinton made the comments on Pod Save America.
Donalds strongly supports Trump’s 2024 campaign.
“How do you feel about being told you’re in a cult?” Donalds was asked.
“I stopped caring about what Hillary Clinton had to say long ago because she lost a long, long time ago,” Donalds replied. “And she’s largely irrelevant as far as I’m concerned. But to a broader level since Hillary wants to engage, allow me to engage…”
“You lied multiple times, you destroyed e mails, you destroyed evidence and then you laundered phony information that you knew was phony into the intelligence community because you were scared you were going to lose,” he said. “You did all this and you still lost, so I’m not going to listen to Hillary Clinton about who I should and should not support.”
“She has lied to the American people repeatedly. She used our institutions to spy on her rivals campaign. Yes, America, she did that. So if people like talking about Watergate and Nixon look no further than Hillary Clinton and Crossfire Hurricane.”

Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., also responded to the comments from Clinton. Graham is a notable supporter of Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign.
“No, I’m not in a cult,” Graham said.
“You know, I have taken the president on when I think he’s wrong, but what they’re doing to President Trump is a game changer for the presidency,” he said.
“They’ve taken the law and turned it upside down on numerous occasions to get him.”
At a speech in New Jersey after his Miami arraignment on 37 federal charges, former President Donald Trump vowed to obtain retribution if voters put him back in the White House.
“If the communists get away with this, it won’t stop with me,” he said. “They will not hesitate to ramp up their persecution of Christians, pro life activists, parents attending school board meetings and even future Republican candidates, which they do.”
Speaking to supporters Tuesday night, Trump promised to appoint a “real” special prosecutor to target President Joe Biden.
“I will appoint a real special prosecutor to go after the most corrupt president in the history of the United States of America, Joe Biden, and the entire Biden crime family… name a special prosecutor, and all others involved with the destruction of our elections, our borders and our country itself,” Trump said.
“I will totally obliterate the deep state,” he continued. “We will obliterate the start and we know who they are. I know exactly who they are. They want to take away my freedom because I will never let them take away your freedom.”
