Chick-Fil-A Worker Praised For Stopping Alleged Carjacking of Woman With a Baby

FORT WALTON BEACH (FLV) – A Chick-Fil-A worker is being praised after helping a woman with a baby who was allegedly being carjacked.

The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office says a man with a stick attempted to grab car keys from a woman with a baby outside Chick-fil-A on Beal Parkway and got into her car.

The Chick-Fil-A location identified the hero as Mykel Gordon, according to ABC 3. Gordon jumped into action after hearing the woman screaming and tackled the man, as seen in the video:

Police say 43-year old William Branch of DeFuniak Springs has been charged with carjacking with a weapon and battery.
