Chris Christie blows up on Vivek Ramaswamy during fourth GOP debate
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie blew up on businessman and fellow GOP presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy during Wednesday night’s debate.
Christie was set off after Ramaswamy outlined and clarified his vision for peace deals to end ongoing global conflict, such as the war between Russia and Ukraine.
The former New Jersey governor argued Ramaswamy’s proposals would be far too soft on leaders like Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“That’s not my deal,” Ramaswamy interjected.
“You do this at every debate!” Christie said. “No – don’t interrupt me, I don’t interrupt you.”
“We confront you on it on the debate stage, you say you didn’t say it, and then you back away,” he said. “I’m not done yet.”
“This is the fourth debate that you would be voted in the first 20 minutes the most obnoxious blowhard in America,” Christie continued. “So, just shut up for a little while.”
