PALM BEACH (FLV) – CNN legal analyst Paul Callan said that the Biden Administration’s raid on Former President Donald Trump, a member of the opposing political party, would not be warranted even if Trump violated the Presidential Records Act.

Eric Trump said that the search was related to the Presidential Records Act: “Sean, the purpose for the raid from what they said was because the National Archives wanted to, you know, corroborate whether or not Donald Trump had any documents in his possession,”

“If this becomes a Presidential Records Act Violation, not more, do you think it is enough to warrant all this? [FBI raid]” the CNN host asked Callan.

“No, it’s not enough to warrant all this, and this is a daring and dangerous move by the Department of Justice to serve a warrant on a former president and to raid his personal residence,” Callan responded.

The Presidential Records Act of 1978 established rules on how U.S. presidents must manage the records of their administrations.

“And my father has worked so collaboratively with them for months. In fact, the lawyer that’s been working on this was totally shocked. He goes, ‘I had such an amazing relationship with these people and all of a sudden, on no notice, they send, you know, 20 cars and 30 agents?’” Eric Trump said.

Hours after news circulated that the Biden Administration’s FBI raided Former President Donald Trump’s home at Mar-a-Lago, he posted a video on Truth Social hinting at a 2024 run.

“Soon we will have greatness again,” Trump said. “It is hard-working patriots like you who are going to save our country.”

On closing, hinting at a potential 2024 run, viewers are left with, “…the best is yet to come.” Watch the full video here.

The New York Posconfirmed that the federal judge who signed off on a warrant to raid Former President Donald Trump’s home is Bruce Reinhart, a former Jeffrey Epstein employee lawyer and donor to Former President Barack Obama.
