For the week of 6.24.24

Former President Donald Trump: What a week – Two Trump+4 topline polls this week, a debate knockout, and now the Supreme Court siding with Jan. 6th defendants, including Trump. Will the winning continue?

President Joe Biden: He’s not a common sense conservative, but the impact he’s having sure is benefitting conservatives right now. Thank you Joe.

Sen. Jim Boyd, Rep. Philip Griffitts: These two sponsored a law signed by Gov. Ron DeSantis this past week prioritizing American-made metals in public works projects, helping limit the use of Chinese metal.

Attorney General Ashley Moody: Moody was part of a multi-state effort to again strike down Biden’s student loan debt forgiveness.

Sen. Blaise Ingoglia, Reps. Berny Jacques and Kiyan Michael: These three sponsored a 2023 law that made medical institutions question patients on their citizenship status. Turns out, Medicaid spending on illegal aliens severely dropped off since it took effect. Who would’ve thought?

Rep. Jason Shoaf, Sen. Corey Simon: Shoaf and Simon sponsored now-signed legislation ensuring Floridians can defend themselves against bear attacks. Yes, that had to become a law.

Rep. Randy Fine: DeSantis signed more bills this week helping protect Jewish people – one increasing funding for Jewish day school security and another setting an official definition of antisemitism.

Broward School Board Member Torey Alston: A DeSantis appointee, Alston is running for election to District 2 and said his prime goal is to keep children first. Read more here.
