Democrat lawmakers, with the support of President Joe Biden, are seeking to increase the federal minimum wage to $15 per hour. The Left say this will lift hundreds of thousands out of poverty. This is their main talking point, which radical Congresswoman Ilhan Omar boasted on Twitter

Well, this tweet turns out to be very misleading.

The Congressional Budget Office (CBO), a nonpartisan agency, released a report stating nearly 1.4 million people would lose their jobs by 2025 if they raise minimum wage.

A negative tradeoff for the 900,000 people who would be lifted out of poverty, according to that same report.

Omar conveniently left that part out of her tweet.
