Cory Mills Defeated Karen Green in Congressional Race

WINTER HAVEN (FLV) – Republican Cory Mills won against Democrat Karen Green for U.S. Representative in the Florida election.

Cory Mills is a decorated U.S. Army combat veteran, and recipient of the Bronze Star. He left Florida to serve his country first in uniform, and then to further serve our U.S. State Department and other government agencies in both Afghanistan and Iraq.

Mills served our country in other ways listed in his biography on his website.

Karen Green immigrated to the U.S. from Jamaica in her early 20’s landing her in Florida.

Mills is a constitutionalist who believes that the sacred oath he took to “support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic” does not have an expiration date.

He was a Trump appointee to the Pentagon as a Department of Defense (DoD) advisor, and a foreign policy expert.

Mills’ mantra throughout his campaign has been that he “believes in FIGHTING for the American people, restoring the voice of “We The People” – America’s voice – and making America First Again.”

Green earned an executive position at a highly regarded cruise line in Florida.

She was able to oversee a private/public partnership during the time of her career with the Florida cruise line and deliver hurricane relief during Hurricane Katrina. She also served those that suffered from Hurricane Maria and has been in close contact with resources during Hurricane Ian.

Green’s priorities throughout her campaign have been women’s rights, environmental protection, affordable housing, Democracy and civil liberties, workers’ rights, and veteran affairs.
