HOLLYWOOD (FLV) – The crowd went wild as Gov. Ron DeSantis, his wife and First Lady Casey, and their three children took to the stage at a Lynyrd Skynyrd concert Sunday.

The crowd burst into chants of, “USA, USA, USA,” as the family of five waved to the crowd.

First Lady Casey DeSantis shared Monday that Lynyrd Skynyrd donated $100,000 to the Florida Disaster Fund. The Seminole Tribe then matched for a total of $200,000.

The first lady announced the Florida Disaster Fund has raised more than $45 million dollars since its activation – a record in the state of Florida.

“We are not going to finish until everybody is back on their feet and everybody is recovering and we know that’s going to take a long time,” she said.
