*UPDATE* The NBA released this statement: With NBA teams now in the process of welcoming fans back into their arenas, all teams will play the national anthem in keeping with longstanding league policy.” Dallas Mavericks’ owner, Mark Cuban, confirmed he hasn’t been playing the anthem in the team’s first 11 games. That streak is now over with the NBA’s mandate.
This shows us how much our nation has regressed, not progressed.
The Dallas Maverick’s owner, Mark Cuban, has dropped the National Anthem. He’s been quoted in the last year saying the National Anthem police are out of control.
I’m sorry, what? Loving your country is a bad thing? Am I missing something?
The false narratives being pushed by the Left are taking over our country. Sports are supposed to be an escape from this hostile political environment. That is no longer the case.
Cuban likes to make the argument that no other job plays the song before work, so why should they? Sure, that’s true in most cases, the difference being the NBA is broadcasted on a national stage. Their reach and influence are in the millions, if not billions.
Taking a stance against our own nation, while simultaneously supporting the Communist Party of China, is a BIG problem.
This sends a message to many young people to oppose our great nation. To be clear, this isn’t going to unify anything, it’ll only further divide.
The truth is, despite all the negativity, our country was doing great pre-pandemic. Economy was flourishing, minority unemployment at all-time lows, American pride was at its peak. Many of those successes were attributed to former President Donald Trump.
And there lies the problem for liberals.
They hate, no, despise the man. They would stop at nothing to destroy him. So, how do they achieve that?
Push division.
Trick minorities into thinking they’re oppressed, take over schools and teach our youth to hate our nation, brainwash millions through the media, have social media censor conservatives.
This is their recipe for success and this latest stunt by Cuban is just another piece of their puzzle.
