TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (FLV) – Future House Speaker Daniel Perez, R-Miami, endorsed Michael Redondo in the race for House District 118.

“Michael has always stood for what is right, tirelessly advocating for individuals in the face of injustice, and I am confident that he will bring that same level of determination to the Florida House of Representatives, defending Floridians freedoms and standing up for conservative principles,” Perez said.

Perez’s endorsement is sponsored by the Florida House Republican Campaign Committee. The campaign committee aims to elected conservative leaders to the Florida House.

Redondo is the founder and managing partner of Redondo Law, P.A., according to a press release. He represented Fortune 500 clients, dealing with personal injury claims, wrongful death claims, and federal and state securities class actions.

Redondo is vying for the seat after Juan Fernandez-Barquin stepped down following the Gov. Ron DeSantis appointment to be the Miami-Dade County Clerk of the Court and Comptroller.
