David Mulicka out-raises Brian Farrar in Lee County commissioner race for Q3

FORT MYERS, Fla. – In the race for Lee County Commissioner District 3, candidate David Scott Mulicka out-raised Brian Farrar for the third fundraising quarter.

During the third quarter, Mulicka raised $141,000 while Farrar raised $52,000.

In total so far, Mulicka raised $222,000 while Farrar raised $121,000, according to the Lee County Supervisor of Elections.

Both candidates filed to run as Republicans.

So far, Mulicka had 320 individual donors while Farrar had 133, according to the campaign website. Farrar donated $50,000 to his own campaign in two payments during June 2023.

Mulicka is a business owner, husband and father. According to his campaign, his top priorities include lowering taxes, cutting red tape, protecting businesses and jobs, supporting law enforcement, advocating for attainable housing, and more

Farrar is a Navy veteran, local job creator, former volunteer firefighter and president of Bonita Springs Utilities. According to his website, goals include protecting infrastructure, preserving shoreline and waterways, empowering businesses and promoting smart growth.

The election will take place Nov. 5, 2024.
