ORANGE COUNTY (FLV) – Democrat state Rep. Anna Eskamani in September called election deniers “dangerous,” while claiming the 2016 presidential election “rigged.”

“Rigged witch hunt”…the only thing rigged in this was the 2016 election. #sayfie #flapoll,” said Eskamani in a tweet from 2018.

A tweet from September, which many say contradicts her prior remarks, read, “More Than 1 In 2 Americans Will Have An Election Denier On The Ballot This Fall. This isn’t funny — it’s dangerous.”

Critics are to Eskamani’s tweets, calling her an ‘election denier’ for claiming 2016 was “rigged.”

Prominent user Libs of TikTok replied to Eskamani saying, “’Disinformation’ now apparently means ‘posting my own words.'”

Eskamani claimed she was referring to the DNC primary. Jeremy Redfern, Deputy Press Secretary for Gov. Ron DeSantis, responded saying, “You were literally commenting on an article about the president. It had nothing to do with the primary.”

Twitter fact checked Eskamani’s response to @DefiantLs comparing the contradictory tweets about election denial, saying, “Both tweets contained in the image were, in fact, tweeted by Rep. Eskamani.”

Florida’s Voice asked Eskamani for comment and has not received a response.
