CONCORD, N.H. (FLV) – Gov. Ron DeSantis obtained six additional New Hampshire lawmaker endorsements Monday, a super PAC supporting the governor’s presidential bid announced.

The latest slate of local endorsements for the Florida governor, according to Never Back Down, includes New Hampshire House Majority Whip Jeanine Notter; Reps. Maureen Mooney, Oliver Ford, Michael Harrington and James Connor; and Rockingham County Commissioner Brian Chirichiello.

“Governor DeSantis is the battle-tested leader New Hampshire and our country needs. His whole life has been dedicated to fighting for our freedoms, and I know he will continue to protect American families and stand up for what’s right as our next President,” Notter, the majority whip, said.

“At a time when our nation is spiraling downward thanks to Joe Biden – from our economy to our military recruitment to our education system – we need someone who will focus on the future and get our country on the right track,” he continued. “Which is why I’m proud to endorse Ron DeSantis for President.”

Never Back Down bragged that DeSantis “leads” the GOP field with 59 political leaders backing him in New Hampshire.

Before DeSantis kicked off his campaign in late May, the governor garnered more than 50 New Hampshire lawmakers‘ endorsements.

After his campaign launch, two New Hampshire lawmakers flipped their endorsements both for and against DeSantis and former President Donald Trump.

New Hampshire, an early primary state, has not yet decided when its presidential primary will be held.
