DAYTONA BEACH (FLV) – Gov. Ron DeSantis did not hold back when he was asked his thoughts on California Gov. Gavin Newsom urging the Biden Administration to investigate the “fraudulent scheme” he believes might have violated federal law. Newsom is referencing DeSantis sending migrants to Martha’s Vineyard.

“[Newsom] sent a letter to the Department of Justice saying, ‘You need to prosecute Texas and Florida governors!’ And, all I can say is, I think his hair gel is interfering with his brain function,” he said. After laughter and applause, the governor ended the press conference.

Newsom sent the letter Thursday to U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland. He said that DeSantis and Gov. Greg Abbot of Texas might have violated “kidnapping” laws and/or various provisions of the Organized Crime Control Act of 1970.

Just two days after DeSantis flew in the migrants, they were seen leaving Martha’s Vineyard on buses.
