DeSantis Proclaims School Choice Week in Florida

TALLAHASSEE (FCV) – Sunday, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) declared the week of January 23-29, 2022, School Choice Week in Florida.

School Choice Week is a nonprofit organization that “works throughout the year to develop and provide free, practical, and unbiased school search resources for Florida families.”

The organization has an online roadmap that helps parents find options for their children attending school.

School Choice Week will partner with 3,016 schools and organizations in Florida to raise more awareness for school choice, a Republican-supported policy heavily pushed by DeSantis.

School choice garners the favor of many parents and is seen as a losing issue for the Democrats.
