JACKSONVILLE (FLV) – In the newly released budget proposal from Gov. Ron DeSantis, a provision is included to ship illegal aliens out of Florida.

The plan delegates $8 million to fund transportation of illegal aliens. It would be paid for by accrued interest from federal funds.

“It’s somewhat tongue in cheek, but it’s true: if you sent them to Delaware or Martha’s Vineyard or some of these places, that border would be secure the next day,” DeSantis remarked at a press conference.

DeSantis’ goal is to push back on the Biden Administration’s destructive border policies permitting record numbers of illegal aliens to enter the United States at the southern border.

This year, DeSantis sent Florida law enforcement to the southern border to aid in border security efforts.
