LAKELAND, FL – Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) announced Thursday that his administration would be suing President Joe Biden (D) over a new plan to implement vaccine mandates via the Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA).

“Do you think this is gonna help the supply chain problems we see? Do you think this is gonna help lower the gas prices?” DeSantis said at the press conference.

DeSantis reported that Florida has filed a lawsuit against vaccine mandates against federal contractors.

“So you either have to fire people, or, if you don’t comply, they just cancel the contract entirely? .. We don’t think they have the authority to do that,” he continued, saying that if they do not succeed, Americans can expect to see further “disruptions” throughout the economy.

Florida’s economy includes lots of federal contractors, especially on the Space Coast.

DeSantis is seeking a preliminary injunction to halt the mandate.

“If you don’t give resistance to this, you’re gonna see other things,” DeSantis remarked, going on to say that there will be no vaccine mandate on school children.
