TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (FLV) – Gov. Ron DeSantis will travel to two of the country’s largest states – California and Texas – in March to headline local GOP club dinners off the release of his upcoming book.

The Texas Tribune reported on the Florida governor’s plans to travel to Harris County, Texas on March 3, and Dallas County the next day.

March 3, DeSantis is set to attend the Harris County GOP’s Lincoln Reagan Dinner.

The Harris County event tickets will reportedly start at $250, and the Dallas event at $500.

DeSantis is “visiting Texas in March to help raise money for county Republican parties,” the Tribune reported.

Then, DeSantis is flying to California’s Orange County to headline “An Evening with Special Guest Governor Ron DeSantis of Florida” on March 5.

At the Orange County GOP’s event, general admission tickets begin at $500, and attendees can purchase the “Platinum Sponsor” tier for $15,000.

DeSantis will then speak at the Alabama Republican Party annual winter dinner on March 9.

On the Orange County GOP’s ticket page, they noted that general attendees will also receive a copy of DeSantis’ book that releases on Feb. 28Florida’s Blueprint for America’s Revival.

“No American leader has accomplished more for his state than Governor Ron DeSantis. Now, he reveals how he did it,” the book description said. “This book is a winning blueprint for patriots across the country. And it is a rallying cry for every American who wishes to preserve our liberties.”

The book will cover key moments in his life, like growing up in a working-class family, playing in the Little League World Series, education at Yale and Harvard, volunteering for the Navy after 9/11, serving in Iraq, his family, and insight into his thinking when grappling with COVID-19 restrictions, Critical Race Theory, ‘woke’ companies, and “legacy media.”

“What Florida has done is establish a blueprint for governance that has produced tangible results while serving as a rebuke to the entrenched elites who have driven our nation into the ground. Florida is proof positive that we, the people are not powerless in the face of these elites,” DeSantis wrote.

The book is DeSantis’ second, previously writing Dreams from Our Founding Fathers: Principles in the Age of Obama in 2011.
