PHILADELPHIA (FLV) – Former President Donald Trump spoke at the Moms for Liberty Summit Friday evening, praising the group’s efforts to “rescue our country from the sinister forces who hate it.”

Moms for Liberty is an organization known for advocating for policy changes at local school boards, including efforts to remove books believed to be inappropriate.

“You have proven beyond all doubt that there is no earthly force more powerful than the love of a mother for her children that’s true,” Trump said.

“In school board races, PTA meetings and town halls across the nation, you have taught the radical left Marxists and communists a lesson they will never forget. Don’t mess with America’s moms,” he continued.

Trump attacked President Joe Biden, saying the FBI under his administration “targeted you patriotic parents” at school board meetings.

“They go after you it’s not even believable. But Antifa. BLM, other groups, corrupt thugs, they don’t go after at all,” Trump said.

The former president commented on the Southern Poverty Law Center labeling Moms for Liberty as a “hate group.”

“I’m telling you, these people are sick, but Moms for Liberty is no hate group,” Trump said. “You are joyful warriors. You are fierce, fierce and fierce.”

In a unifying tone, Trump slammed the president and said “together, we’re going to throw them out of office on election day of 2024.”
