TAMPA (FCV) – Wednesday, a federal judge granted Florida Governor Ron DeSantis’ (R) request for a preliminary injunction against President Joe Biden’s (D) federal contractor vaccine mandate.
The court granted the injunction, saying it did so “because Florida demonstrates a substantial likelihood that [Biden’s order] exceeds the president’s authority.”
The case will move forward, but Biden’s order will remain blocked until a further decision is reached.
In October, DeSantis sued the Biden Administration over the federal contractor mandate that Biden unilaterally imposed.
“Now we have somehow gone from 15 days to slow the spread to 3 jabs to keep your job,” DeSantis remarked.
