Florida Democrats launch ‘Take Back Florida’ statewide tour

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (FLV) – The Florida Democratic Party launched a “Take Back Florida” statewide tour as the party attempts to rebuild from deepening losses.

The tour will visit 18 counties in August to organize voter registration drives “to take back our state.”

Florida’s November 2022 elections were described as a red tsunami when Gov. Ron DeSantis won reelection by nearly 20 points against Democrat Charlie Crist.

On top of that, Republicans flipped Miami-Dade, Palm Beach, Osceola, Hillsborough and Pinellas counties.
