PALM BAY, Fla. – Rep. Randy Fine, R-Palm Bay, who is running for state Senate, encouraged people on social media to donate to former President Donald Trump instead of him at the end of the fiscal quarter.

The comments came after Trump was found guilty on all 34 charges in his New York hush money trial on Thursday.

“Normally I ask people to donate to my campaign at the end of the quarter. Screw that,” Fine said.

“My election won’t determine whether America survives. His will,” he said, adding a link to contribute to the former president’s 2024 campaign.

After the verdict, Trump’s campaign said Friday morning it raised a whopping $34.8 million.

Fine staunchly came to the former president’s defense following the trial results with multiple posts on social media.

“It’s now a reasonable question to ask if Florida and New York can exist in the same union,” he said directly after the verdict was made public.

“We have to win. We have to,” he said in another post.

The representative also explained that “rage” was the feeling many of his constituents were experiencing as the news reported the results.

Trump endorsed Fine in February for his state Senate race in the Space Coast region of Florida.

“Florida State Rep. Randy Fine is a MAGA Warrior who will stand up to anyone to advance the America First agenda!” Trump said on social media.

“One of our only elected Jewish Republicans, he stands with me for an America that brings Peace through Strength, and an Economy that works for our Nation’s families. I need him in the Florida Senate, and he has my Complete and Total Endorsement!” he added.
