TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Florida Republican Reps. Anna Paulina Luna, Matt Gaetz, and other leaders from across the nation joined former President Donald Trump in New York on Thursday for his court appearance relating to the Stormy Daniels hush money trial.

“We stand with President Trump!” Luna said.

“Standing back and standing by, Mr. President,” Gaetz said.

Other leaders in attendance included Reps. Lauren Boebert, R-Colo., Andy Biggs, R-Ariz., Eli Crane, R-Ariz., and Bob Good, R-Va.

“I am proud to be with members of the HFC [House Freedom Caucus] and others to support, defend, and have the back of President Trump!” said Good.

Earlier in the week, Florida Republican Reps. Byron Donalds and Cory Mills also attended a court appearance with Trump.

Standing outside of the courtroom Thursday, Trump spoke with the media and said “every legal scholar” has said there is “no case.” Trump noted “[President Joe] Biden’s office” is “running this trial.”

“When I announced I was running, they brought it up. This could have done it seven years ago, but they wanted it right smack in the middle of the election,” Trump said.

Trump said the “good news” is that polls are “through the roof.”

The newest New York Times/Siena swing state poll results found Trump leading Biden by a shocking 13% margin, and by 9% in Georgia among likely voters.
