TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Florida Republicans again expanded their lead for the month of September over state Democrats, new data shows.

Republicans now lead Democrats in the Sunshine State by over 626,000 voters, per new data from the Florida Department of State.

In a single month, Republicans increased their lead by over 37,000 voters.

Both parties lost voters. Since the election of 2022, Democrats have lost more than 412,000 voters while Republicans have lost around 142,000.

Since last year’s election, Republicans expanded their lead by over 270,000 voters.

In 2023, each party selected a new chairperson: Republicans selected Christian Ziegler and Democrats chose former Agriculture Commissioner Nikki Fried.

The Division of Elections has been clearing voters from the system, the prime reason for Democrats losing so much ground to Republicans, with gains unable to offset losses.

The department removed a total of 205,104 active voters in 2023 and 6,803 inactive voters. 375,440 new voters have been added thus far.

“Voters aren’t just leaving the Democrat Party, they are FLEEING FAST!” Ziegler said, touting the new numbers.
