FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (FLV) – The City of Fort Lauderdale is asking locals for feedback regarding its business climate.

“We conduct a survey for businesses to better understand their satisfaction and perception of the City as a place to do business, similar to our Neighbor Survey,” Fort Lauderdale Media and Public Relations Program Manager Arlene Borenstein told Florida’s Voice.

The 5-minute survey was sent out by Fort Lauderdale Mayor Dean J. Trantalis Sunday.

Questions in the prompt include a 1-5 rating scale on the city’s place to do business and work.

The survey also asks a “most important” question with a list of points to keep businesses in Fort Lauderdale.

“The City uses results to focus improvements in areas that are of highest importance businesses, guide priorities, allocate resources, and validate strategies for improvement,” Borenstein added.

Fort Lauderdale was recently named as a top mid-sized metro for Best Business Climate by Business Facilities.
