Four Job Creation Organizations Endorse Ron DeSantis: ‘We Kept Florida Open and Free’
TAMPA (FLV) – Gov. Ron DeSantis received endorsements from four Florida job creation organizations in Tampa Friday.
The National Federation of Independent Business Florida PAC, Florida Trucking Association PAC, Associated Builders and Contractors of Florida, and the Florida Home Builders Association endorsed the governor.
“Thanks to our truckers, builders, contractors, and other supply chain workers, Florida is moving and thriving. While other states locked down their economies over the past two years, we kept Florida open and free. As a result, we are leading the country in job creation, and I am grateful for their support,” DeSantis said.
The DeSantis campaign said this is the first time that the Florida Trucking Association PAC has endorsed a candidate in its nearly 90-year history.
Trucking is connected to every industry in Florida—medical, construction, transportation, hotel and restaurants, retail—all rely on the more than 114,000 trucking companies in the state to stay in business.
