WASHINGTON, D.C. (FLV) – President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden will travel to Florida Wednesday following Hurricane Ian’s destruction.

Prior to the Florida trip, the two planned a stop at Puerto Rico Monday after Hurricane Fiona affected parts of the country.

The president will meet with families and local officials who have been affected by the hurricanes.

Hurricane Ian devastated parts of Florida as businesses and homes were destroyed, while leaving millions without power. Since the storm, crews have rescued thousands of people and have worked to restore power.
