PALM BEACH (FLV) – The New York Post confirmed that the federal judge who signed off on a warrant to raid Former President Donald Trump’s home is Bruce Reinhart, a former Jeffrey Epstein employee lawyer and donor to Former President Barack Obama.

Sources reportedly told the Post that Reinhart is the judge who signed off on the warrant, which was entered into the court’s system on August 8th – the day of the FBI raid in Palm Beach. At the time of reporting, the warrant is sealed.

The Miami Herald reported that on January 2, 2008, Reinhart began helping represent Epstein’s employees in a case related to sex trafficking:

Epstein also hired Bruce Reinhart, then an assistant U.S. attorney in South Florida, now a U.S. magistrate. He left the U.S. Attorney’s Office on Jan. 1, 2008, and went to work representing Epstein’s employees on Jan. 2, 2008, court records show. In 2011, Reinhart was named in the Crime Victims’ Rights Act lawsuit, which accused him of violating Justice Department policies by switching sides, implying that he leveraged inside information about Epstein’s investigation to curry favor with Epstein.

FEC documents show Reinhart donating to Democrat Barack Obama campaign in 2008. They also show him donating to Trump opponent Jeb Bush in 2016.
