WASHINGTON, D.C. (FLV) – Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, R-Fla., notified Capitol Police of actress and far-left activist Jane Fonda’s recent remarks suggesting “murder” as solution, instead of “marching and protesting,” following the overturning of Roe v. Wade.

During an appearance on The View, Fonda and co-star Lily Tomlin discussed the topic of abortion.

“We have experienced for many decades now of having agency over our bodies, of being able to determine when and how many children to have. We know what that feels like. We know what that’s done for our lives. We’re not going back. I don’t care what the laws are. We’re not going back,” Fonda said.

In the video, which has been shared on social media, host Joy Behar asks Fonda what should be done, aside from “marching and protesting.”

“Well, I’ve thought of murder,” Fonda responded.

“She’s just kidding,” Behar responded, as Fonda said while the audience laughed.

Fonda did not specify who she thought should be murdered or if she was joking. The hosts quickly changed topics to talk about Fonda’s “activism.”

“I have notified Capitol Police of Jane Fonda’s call to murder pro-life politicians,” Luna said.

“I am a pro-life member of Congress. As she did not retract or clarify that she was ‘joking’ with her statement, we are taking this threat as a serious one,” Luna wrote on Twitter.

Luna went on to say that calling for the murder of a pro-life politicians is not only dangerous but it’s “incredibly sick.”

“This leads to targeting and can result in someone being seriously hurt. The View should be ashamed that they condone violence, especially against women elected officials as we are already targeted way more for stalking and violence way more than our male counterparts,” Luna said.

Rep. Byron Donalds, R-Fla., tweeted, “To the pro-life Americans all across our great country, stay strong & know I will always have your back on Capitol Hill.”
