WASHINGTON (FLV) – U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio said Americans “can’t ignore” what they are seeing “with our own eyes” after Sean Hannity asked Rubio in an interview if President Joe Biden has the strength, mental acumen and awareness to be president.

“I don’t think we can ignore reality or what we are seeing with our own eyes,” Rubio said.

The Senator explained how he interacted with Biden when he served as Vice President.

RUBIO: “But clearly, he’s not the same person. I can’t tell you from an intellectual cognitive perspective how well he understands because I don’t work in the White House. I can tell you what my eyes see and I can tell you what our adversaries see and I can tell you what our allies around the world see.”

HANNITY: “What do they see?”

RUBIO: “I think they see a person that’s operating in a diminished way.”

Rubio said countries including China, Iran, Russia and Venezuela do not have a sense of fear about what may happen if they cross a line when they see the president’s actions.

“We can’t ignore what we are seeing with our own eyes and the impact that’s having on our country on its national security and how vulnerable it makes us it’s just a fact of life,” Rubio said.

U.S. Senator Rick Scott has called President Biden “unfit” for office in a Fox News interview in June.

“And so he has no plan to fix anything. He’s confused. He’s incapacitated. He’s unfit for office,” Scott said.

The White House Press Secretary reportedly laughed off a question in June about the physical and mental well-being of the president.

CNN host Don Lemon asked Karine Jean-Pierre if the president has the stamina, physically and mentally, to continue on after 2024.

“That is not a question that we should be even asking,” she added. “Just look at the work he does. And look how he’s delivering for the American public.”
