Friday, Florida’s Conservative Voice obtained an internal email from NCH Healthcare System in Naples, Florida, that is pressuring personnel to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.

“To date we do not have a record of you having received the COVID vaccine …. If you have not received a vaccine, NCH has a clinic located at Eagle View,” the email reads.

To date, no COVID-19 vaccine in the United States has achieved Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval.

Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson-brand COVID-19 vaccines have received FDA Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) approval, a quicker and less comprehensive authorization for public vaccinations.

Critics and skeptics of the COVID-19 vaccines available to the public typically point out the constant stream of new information and adverse effects being reported. Additionally, they argue in favor of awaiting full FDA approval of a COVID-19 vaccine as other vaccines have received after years of research and trials.

The FDA and CDC publicly state that the current COVID-19 vaccines are safe and effective. While serious and potentially fatal side effects have been documented, they are rare. Officials urge that the risk of the vaccine is substantially lower than the risk of being infected with COVID-19.
