Poll: Anna Paulina Luna Leads Congressional District 13 Republican Primary

CLEARWATER (FLV) – A new internal poll shows Anna Paulina Luna leading the pack to win the Republican nomination in the Congressional District 13 race.

Spry Strategies conducted a poll that shows Luna has a 20-point lead over Kevin Hayslett who is her closest competitor. They surveyed 556 likely Republican primary voters.

Luna has 36% of the vote, Kevin Hayslett with 16%, Amanda Makki around 10% and Christine Quinn with 1% of the vote.

However, according to the poll, 38% of Primary voters did not know who they would vote for in the August 23rd primary.

Anna Paulina Luna is endorsed by former President Donald Trump. After voters were told about Trump’s endorsement, her lead grew to 41.1% according to the poll.

Luna’s campaign said her name recognition is strong compared to her competition. Around 11% had not heard of Luna compared to 38.7% for Hayslett and 25.4% for Makki.
