TALLAHASSEE (FLV) –  Parental Rights Florida State Coordinator Patti Sullivan endorsed Florida State Senator Kelli Stargel for U.S. Congressional District 15 Wednesday.

“Kelli Stargel understands that family is the heart of our state and nation. She has proven herself to be a consistent and steadfast ally in preserving the Parental Rights of Florida’s families,” Sullivan said.

Stargel was the main sponsor for the Parents’ Bill of Rights in 2020. The Stargel campaign said she guided family-friendly laws across the finish line in the state legislature.

“As a constitutional conservative, Senator Stargel’s legislative record reflects a principled champion who has fought to preserve life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness for Florida families,” Sullivan said.

Florida State Sen. Kelli Stargel, R-Lakeland, announced Monday she will join the crowded race to represent Congressional District 15.

“I know what is possible when consistent conservatives fight for our shared values. In Tallahassee, I have fought alongside Governor Ron DeSantis to prioritize Florida’s families, fight for parental choice and ensure our state remains a beacon of freedom for the rest of the world,” Stargel said when she announced.

Former Secretary of State Laurel Lee, Rep. Jackie Toledo, former U.S. Rep. Dennis Ross, Jay Collins, Jerry Torres, Demetries Grimes and Kevin John McGovern have announced they will run for the seat.
