TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Senate President Kathleen Passidomo, R-Naples, and Republican Senate leadership endorsed Sen. Erin Grall, R-Fort Pierce, for reelection to her District 29 seat.

Senate President-Designate Ben Albritton, R-Bartow, as well as Sens. Jim Boyd, R-Bradenton, and Jay Trumbull, R-Panama City, joined Passidomo in the endorsement.

“No one has worked harder to protect Florida’s families than Erin Grall,” the leadership said in a joint statement.

“As extremists struggle to lie and distort Florida’s mission to defend parental rights and the sanctity of life, Erin is unwavering in her support for God’s greatest gifts,” they added.

“We look forward to welcoming Erin Grall back to the Senate, because we know that she will continue to be a proven advocate for our shared Florida values,” they said.

Grall played a large role in helping the state’s Heartbeat Protection Act pass through the Senate, as well as the social media bill that limits minors access to addictive online platforms.

District 29 represents all of Glades, Highlands, Okeechobee and Indian River Counties. It also covers most of St. Lucie County.

Grall began her legislative career in the state House in 2016, ultimately securing her current Senate seat in 2022 after an uncontested election.

She faces one Democratic opponent and no primary challengers in 2024.
