This Tuesday Brendon Leslie hosted a great podcast at Seed to Table, co-hosted by Eric Daugherty and Patrick Dearborn. This week’s podcast featured a very special guest, Congressman Byron Donalds, a member of the U.S. House of Representatives for Florida’s 19th Congressional District.

Our patriots kicked off the podcast by introducing their guest, Congressman Byron Donalds. Brendon Leslie opened the discussion talking about Congressman Donalds’ major fundraising effort this past quarter. The Congressman raised $1.1 million dollars and received donations from all 50 states. This is a huge success especially for a freshman in the United States House of Representatives. Congressman Donalds shared with our patriots why his latest fundraiser was so successful saying, “People are just resonating with the things I talk about. They see me on their television sets, ya know, probably too much these days. But it’s really just about being consistent, being committed to conservative principles, and being committed to the greatest nation the world has ever known.”

The patriot talk show continued with our patriots talking to Congressman Donalds about upcoming elections. Brendon began the conversation asking the Congressman about South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem’s recent CPAC speech where she called out Republican governors for shutting down their states saying, “South Dakota was the only state to never close a single business. We talk about rewriting history? Let’s talk about rewriting history. We’ve got Republican governors pretending that they didn’t shut down their states.” Congressman Donalds commented on Governor Noem’s speech saying, “Listen, all of us Republicans, we’re nice to each other when we’re not campaigning, but when the campaign comes it’s every man or woman for themselves.”

The patriot talk show concluded with our patriots talking to Congressman Byron Donalds about critical race theory, the protests in Cuba, and how the Democrat Party has abandoned traditional liberalism in favor of marxism. Congressman Donalds put it very well saying, “Our men and women in uniform have one job to do and that’s to defend our country. Our young kids have one job to do and that’s to learn. If you don’t think that [America’s] grand experiment is important go look 90 miles south.”

Thank you to everyone who tuned in to this week’s podcast! Join Brendon Leslie and his co-hosts for the next podcast at Seed to Table and on live stream every Tuesday at 7pm. We hope to see YOU there!
