PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. – Pinellas County School Board candidate Stacy Geier received endorsements from Florida Republican leaders as well as a sitting school board member.

Geier, who is running for the Pinellas County School Board District 5 seat, was endorsed by Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, R-Fla, Rep. Berny Jacques, R-Seminole, and Pinellas County School Board Member for District 5 Dawn Peters.

“It is with great enthusiasm that I’m endorsing Stacy Geier for Pinellas County School Board District 5,” Luna said.

Geier is a business owner in Pinellas County, wife and mother of two, who have had diverse educational experiences, according to her website. She is running to replace outgoing School Board Member Carol Cook.

“As a wife, mother, community business owner, and strong advocate for Pinellas families, she has the experience to get our schools focused on academics, vocational programs, teacher support and parental rights,” Luna continued. “Our next generation of learners need a strong leader like Stacy Geier.”

As a business owner, Geier has experience in managing employees, balancing a budget and understanding client and employee retention, according to her biography.

“I trust that Stacy will use her years of experience in education and business to benefit the families of Pinellas County,” Peters said. “She is a strong advocate for academics and parental rights. I proudly endorse Stacy Geier.”

Geier’s top priorities include parental rights and child safety.

“Parental rights, student safety, and the elimination of indoctrination are what we need to provide the best education to the children in Pinellas County,” Jacques said.

Jacques pointed to Geier being a patriot and business leader for over 20 years.

“She brings experience and the know-how to deliver the changes needed in our schools today,” Jacques said. “I am proud to endorse Stacy Geier for Pinellas County School Board, District 5.”

Other priorities of Geier’s include fiscal responsibility, academics over ideology, investing in vocational programs, and retaining and recruiting quality teachers.

Geier was also endorsed by Florida Faith Foundations.

“Stacy Geier is committed to returning our public schools back to the business preparing our children with an excellent academic-focused education, in preparation for life; and de-coupling our education system from its present obsession with social engineering and Woke indoctrination,” the Florida Faith Foundation said.
