Rep. Gus Bilirakis to host events on efforts to help local seniors

PALM HARBOR, Fla. – Florida Republican Rep. Gus Bilirakis announced dates and locations for a pair of senior forums addressing matters that concern local seniors of the 12th Congressional District.

They are as follows:

  • Feb. 22: 10 a.m. ET – St. Leo University Wellness Center, 1238 Priory Circle, San Antonio, FL
  • Feb. 27: 1 p.m. ET – Plantation Inn, Magnolia Room, 9301 W Fort Island Trail, Crystal River, FL

According an announcement, Bilirakis will provide a legislative update on his work helping seniors.

His office said Bilirakis is focusing on fighting to protect Medicare and Social Security.

Moreover, Bilirakis will be joined by federal, state and local agencies to share information on artificial intelligence scams and resources for seniors to live independently in their homes.

They also will provide research updates for treatments for cancer, Parkinson’s Disease and Alzheimer’s Disease.
