Ron DeSantis Endorses Kiyan Michael for House District 16

TALLAHASSEE (FLV) – Gov. Ron DeSantis endorsed Jacksonville resident Kiyan Michael to serve as state representative for House District 16.

“Kiyan Michael is an Angel Mom, military spouse & lifelong Jacksonville resident,” DeSantis said.

“Kiyan Michael has stood with me in the fight against illegal immigration & will be a leader in the FL House as we fight Biden’s open border policies. I am proud to endorse her candidacy for HD 16.”

Michael’s campaign website said her top priorities include combatting the ‘defund the police’ movement, supporting veterans, limiting federal overreach in the school systems, tackling illegal immigration, and protecting freedom.

Former state Rep. Lake Ray and Chet Stokes are the other candidates in the Republican primary.
