KISSIMMEE, Fla. – Republican Party of Florida Chairman Christian Ziegler said Republicans are “unified against censorship by big tech” as Rumble and PublicSq announce partnerships with the upcoming 2023 Florida Freedom Summit.

The Florida Freedom Summit will be held on Nov. 4 at the Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center in Kissimmee.

The summit will bring together top Republican leaders, including Presidential GOP candidates former President Donald Trump, Gov. Ron DeSantis, former United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley, entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy, Vice President Mike Pence, North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum, and New Jersey former Gov. Chris Christie.

Others to be present include Sen. Rick Scott, R-Fla., U.S. Rep. Byron Donalds, R-Fla., U.S. Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., U.S. Rep. Cory Mills, R-Fla., and more.

“Republicans are totally unified against censorship by big tech, which Rumble is taking head on by developing their platform, and then PublicSq, they’re building a network of businesses that are ‘anti-woke’ and that share our values,” Ziegler said.

Ziegler said Republican voters are “frustrated with big tech censorship,” and they “oppose the effort to ‘shove woke down our throats’ in all parts of society, especially the economy.”

Rumble is a high-growth neutral video platform that is “creating the rails and independent infrastructure designed to be immune to cancel culture.” PublicSq connects “freedom-loving Americans” to businesses and community that share their values.

“Both of these companies are leading the way in terms of pushing our principles and values,” Ziegler said. “Natural fit, it’s exciting.”

PublicSq Founder and CEO Michael Seifert told Florida’s Voice that Florida has been an “example for the rest of the country about what effective policy can do to a business environment to a cultural environment.”

The previously California-based company recently moved to West Palm Beach, Siefert said.

Siefert said now that they are “proud new residents of Florida,” it made a lot of sense for them to “put our money where our mouth is, and help the Florida GOP put on this great event that will represent the values that have made our country a special place, especially for the business community.”

“The emerging and growing parallel economy is best represented by PublicSq and Rumble and so for us to join forces – two Florida companies to host this event – I think is going to be a powerful sign to the nation that the business community of the United States backs conservative policy agendas,” Seifert said.

Florida’s Voice previously reported PublicSq stepped up to sponsor Buffalo Bills player Jordan Poyer’s charity golf tournament after other sponsors pulled out due to the location of the event – Trump National Golf Course.

The company’s preliminary third quarter revenue reportedly grew approximately 300% from the second quarter, to an estimated $2.2 million. In July, the company went public.

Rumble also reportedly had strong second quarter results.

Rumble Chairman and CEO Chris Pavlovski said the company stands for “freedom,” and it’s one of the many reasons they moved their U.S. headquarters to Florida.

“We are proud to partner with the FloridaGOP to livestream the Freedom Summit on a platform dedicated to protecting a free and open internet,” Pavlovski said in a press release.

In addition, the Florida Freedom Summit will welcome and celebrate the business, civic, and conservative grassroots leaders who live in Florida.

Florida’s cabinent including Lt. Gov. Jeanette Nuñez, Attorney General Ashley Moody and Chief Financial Officer Jimmy Patronis will also attend the event.
